Greetings! I hope this finds you and your loved ones healthy and strong amidst yet another year of Pandemic uncertainty.
Like many organizations, we have had to pivot during a year when we have had fewer weddings and events. We remained committed to our mission to preserve and protect The Trolley Barn and to support our community in Inman Park and beyond. We think you will be happy to hear what we have accomplished to serve the community at large.
We made the Barn available to the Red Cross for 20 days of blood drives during a time when it was critically needed. Equally important, we donated space at the Barn to CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) for 16 days of Covid19 testing and 13 days of vaccinations. What a wonderful way to use our Barn, right?
Want more? We also provided space for voter registration drives, the Girl Scouts, the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition, the Grady (Midtown) Debate Club, and the Inman Park Neighborhood Association.
We hope that 68 days of donated space during a difficult year makes you feel proud of The Trolley Barn. But cancelled paying events have taken their toll. We need friends like you to help us keep the lights on, pay our staff, and preserve this historical gem.
We have big plans for 2022. Please consider including a generous, tax-deductible donation to The Trolley Barn in your year-end charitable giving. You can contribute here or send a check to the address below. If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Milko, Executive Director @ 404.521.2308 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Wishing you a happy and healthy holiday season,
President of the Board
